The Lodge Wadjemup

The Lodge Wadjemup lighting plan responds to its island setting beside ecologically sensitive salt lakes, using warm, low-glare fittings to preserve its relaxed coastal character and sunset views. Developed for a multi-stage redevelopment adding 109 rooms, a Poolhouse precinct, dining, and guest facilities, the scheme layers wayfinding, amenity, and accent lighting to support both public areas and intimate guest moments. Integrating heritage buildings and guided by Wadjemup Elders and the island authority, luminaires and controls are discreet, energy-efficient, and sensitive to sightlines and cultural values, creating a calm, domestic feel in guest rooms while meeting operational and conservation requirements
